Retreats at The Moody Center

Providing the sacred space for Christians to get away to is a cause near and dear to our hearts. Northfield once was a place of sending out equipped workers for the Kingdom, and we are reclaiming that vision to be a center where people can gather for training and encouragement and then go out to impact the world.

This past weekend we had the honor of hosting the Chair City Church’s first annual women’s retreat. 47 women gathered together to study the theme of “Be bold! Be brave! Be His!”

The women took time to gather at Roundtop Hill to hear stories from D.L. Moody’s life and learn more of the stories of the women that the Memorial Grove honors.

Of course, it would not be a gathering without food and fellowship. We love filling up the halls with the happy voices, deep conversations, and joyful communion together.

Join the legacy

It is an honor and a privilege to have this space to draw so many people together. The legacy of D.L. Moody still serves as an inspiration. God changed a nation through D.L. Moody, and we still believe, in faith, that God can carry out another work like this. That is why we want you here! Come refresh your soul with new hope and inspiration. God still moves, and this Northfield property is one of those special sacred spots where you will gain a sense of this.
